Restorative Yoga teachers training course

Over 4 days over 2 weekends. November 23rd and 24th

and December 7th and 8th.

Benefits of restorative yoga:

Restorative postures, which are often supported by blocks, blankets, bolsters, and other props, are designed to maximize comfort and allow you to fully let go, which is why they are typically held longer—about 5 to 2o minutes.

Restorative yoga is  better than sleep for releasing tense muscles, relieving joint aches, and transitioning the mind and body quickly from stress to calm,  it also teaches us conscious control of relaxation.

Restorative yoga is an excellent opportunity to disconnect from the frenetic activity of daily life and allows you to slow down. It offers a welcome respite among all the turbulence of life and helps to prepare the mind and body for the meditation and pranayama. Moving slowly through the poses allows you to explore your mind and body at a steady and natural pace. The slower pace and deep breathing that you get in a restorative yoga class triggers the calming effect on the nervous system.

In this course you will also learn how to teach yoga nidra.
